The “The State of Social Enterprise in Ghana” report, authored by Songhai Advisory, UnLtd, Social Enterprise UK, ODI, and the British Council, describes how social enterprise activity in Ghana is growing after having surveyed 98 social enterprises. The report indicates that 40% of social enterprise leaders are women, and that 60% of social enterprises focus on employment opportunities as their main objective. The report estimates that there exist 26,000 social enterprises in Ghana.
